The Scenic Village

This tenanted property was brought to our attention as the vendor required a confidential sale. All options were analysed and it was decided that the property would benefit from refurbishment and purchase lease option was put into place. This agreement facilitated both the vendors needs, our business interests and also that of the tenant, ensuring they remained secure in their own home.

Although not in a terrible state of repair, it was clear during our inspection that the property was unloved and had far more potential than was currently being realised. More intrusive works would also be required to the rear of the property as the kitchen and bathroom exhibited signs of damp and dated wiring. We decided, in line with the tenants wishes, the refurbishment would begin with the cosmetic refurbishment in the front half of the house and would be tenant led.

Once the front of the house was completed to the very high standard seen above, attentions were turned to the rear half of the property. The tenants were consulted throughout the design process and a modern, practical and functional space was created with their detailed input. This incorporated built in appliances and a brand new kitchen, as well as electrical, plumbing upgrading and damp-proofing work to ensure the longevity of the new install.
